Definitely good food, we had the chicken burger with fries and panini with cheese which was really good. You also have a nice selection of vinegar, brown sauce and tomato sauce if you want.
Service is friendly and even though it was quit busy everything was brought out quickly and efficiently.
Every Tuesday there is pub quiz as well so it's nice to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Fantastic breakfast!! Visited here on a few occasions over the last 2 weeks while on holiday. The breakfasts are excellent and good value for money. Friendly staff and service. Can't wait to return next year!!

We visited the Tipsy Thistle on a recommendation as our daughter wanted Sausage and Mash. The Tipsy Thistle did not dissappint. The mash potato was fresh and the gravy was clearly homemade! The staff were so friendly, accommodating, and interacted with our daughter. Nothing seemed too much for them and they even brought more gravy which was not wasted! Would definitely eat here again!

I visit here every time I come to stay with my mum. It's such a lovely place the staff are friendly and chatty. Lots to choose from during the day and evening. Fab pudding choices too. They offer afternoon tea too which slot of places don't. Will definitely come back as it's one of our favourites.

Excellent afternoon tea! They could also make a gluten-free afternoon tea (just needed two days notice) which was amazing (one of us has celiac disease). Would highly recommend 😊 Only wish for next time would be to choose from more than one type tea, but that would just be a bonus.

Fantastic food. Friendly staff. We ordered afternoon tea for the ladies and steak pie for the gents. Beautiful. Very highly recommended. The cocktails wwnt down nicely too lol. Looking forward to our next visit. Xx

First time at this restaurant, 4 of us had a lovely meal.2x roast dinner,1x gammon steak 1x panini with bacon and Brie, could not fault any of it. Very tasty and great value for money. Would recommend and would definitely use again when visiting that area. Great service and friendly attentive staff.

Had a lovely Christmas dinner here with a group of 25 friends. What a nice place this is. Good food and very friendly and professional service. They made us feel welcome, and everything was organised for us. I highly recommend you try this restaurant. Thank you so much for making it a fantastic day for us all.
